Welcome to Surya Bagh

Set within a ten-acre estate in Ajabgarh, Surya Bagh is a four-bedroom private residence on the edge of the Sariska forest. The Aravalli hills frame a home with generous spaces and a warm, personal welcome.

Light moves through spacious suites and onto private patios. The pool looks towards the hills, and a seasonal stream runs through the estate during the rains. There is room here to spend time together and to enjoy a quiet corner of your own.

Choose a safari in Sariska or a walk through the countryside, then return for an afternoon at the residence. As evening settles over the valley, gather for sundowners and dinner prepared around your preferences.

The Residence

Our four suites offer space for up to eight guests, with views towards the Aravalli hills or the seasonal stream. Each has a king-size bed, comfortable indoor seating, an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and a private outdoor sit-out.

Large windows keep the landscape close. Settle in with a book, take your morning tea outside, or return for a long bath after a day of exploring.

Dining at Surya Bagh

Our kitchen brings together the flavours of Rajasthan and seasonal produce from our garden and neighbouring farms. Menus are planned with your preferences in mind.

Gather in the Aravali Dining Room, enjoy a leisurely lunch by the pool, or settle in for an evening barbecue. When the season allows, breakfast beside the stream offers a different start to the day. Sundowners at the Burj bring the hills and the evening sky into view.

The Pool

Swim with the Aravalli hills in view, stretch out on a lounger, or spend the afternoon in the shade of the daybed pavilion. With drinks and light bites brought to you, the pool is an easy place to let the day pass.

Fishing 

A gentle stream flowing from nearby reservoir meanders through Surya Bagh, attracting herons, kingfishers and other wildlife to its tranquil banks. Spend a leisurely afternoon fishing by the water, then savour your catch freshly prepared on the grill.
